Police say an Idaho Falls woman stole drugs from a veterinary clinic and lied to authorities about it. The owner of Rexburg Veterinary Medical Center and owner of Riley the Horse confirmed Wednesday that he received a complaint about Riley's horse several weeks ago and asked the State Veterinary Office for an expert recommendation.
He checked all 30 horses Riley owned and found that Riley's horses were not being looked after as well as they could be classified. He said he had taken more aggressive measures to ensure the animals looked after themselves after being removed from their owners. She said it was up to trained zookeepers to ensure they were not looking after them outside the law and not against the law.
